Take a deep breath and hold it for a while, it also stops coughing . A teaspoon of lemon juice and honey stops the cough. Combining water and salt and drinking a little water also stops coughing. Eating chain or a piece of dry bread also stops coughing. Eating granulated sugar also stops coughing.
Elevation in general is not dangerous for you. Moreover, the elevation lasts only a few minutes. So there is no reason to panic. However, if the cough does not stop for more than three hours, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
