Xbox is back in Los Angeles to host its regular summer gaming event
In a post on the official blog summarizing the recent Developer Direct episode, Xbox confirmed they’re working on a standalone show in Los Angeles this summer.
In a paragraph about upcoming game announcements, Xbox wrote, “As previously announced, in order to take the time to take a deep dive into Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield, a standalone show is in the works.”
“Plus, our teams work hard and we look forward to sharing more of what’s to come with our fans when we return to Los Angeles for our annual show this summer,” the post continued.
Xbox’s last presence in Los Angeles was in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic and before the annual E3 show was shut down for a while.
It should be noted that Xbox did not mention the Electronic Entertainment Expo by name, which is scheduled to take place from June 13 to 16 this year, making Microsoft return to the Los Angeles Convention Center for the first time since 2019.
