Tokyo is making its way to Xbox next April
Ghostwire: Tokyo was first available in March 2022 for PS5 and PC, and after a year has passed, the game is finally making its way to Xbox Series owners. Tango Gameworks announced that Ghostwire: Tokyo is coming to Xbox Series X on April 12, and will be available for free to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
The developer also announced a big update to the game titled Spider’s Thread that will be available on the same day of release for all devices, adding a new game mode, extended story cutscenes, new areas and more.
Spider’s Thread game mode puts players through a 30-stage challenge, drawn from a selection of 120 hand-crafted levels, with the sole objective of reaching the end. Advancing through the levels allows the player to earn in-game money, unlock more skills, and gain upgrades.
New parts of the Ghostwire: Tokyo map are also unlocked, topped by the local middle school district and each new location brings new and mysterious missions to uncover.
A variety of new enemies are also being added to the game including the invisible Silent Gaze and the elusive Retribution and players can unlock new skills designed to take on fearsome monsters.
Tango Gameworks has also promised that the Spider’s Thread update will bring a variety of game improvements to make the game experience smoother.
