Today, it was officially announced that the PC version of System Shock will be postponed, which will now be available on May 30, after it would have been available this March. The studio did not reveal the fate of the home console version.

The Nightdive team stated in a post on: Steam today saying:

We had hoped to have the game on the market by the end of March, but that turned out to be a long way off, after all we are only human.

The developer added:

The home console version of System Shock will be released in due course, but the release date will not be revealed until more details become available.

It is noteworthy that the remake will be published by Prime Matter, which is the latest branch of Koch Media specialized in publishing activities and operations, and Nightdive stated that cooperation with Prime Matter will help them reach their goal of providing the best possible quality in addition to giving them the opportunity to provide the game in digital copies as well as discs.
