After a lot of rumors that have appeared over the past few days, Valve has come out to us today to officially announce Counter-Strike 2 and confirm that it will arrive sooner than we think.
The exact release date has not been announced, but Valve revealed that the game will come to us in the summer of 2023, at the end of the promotional clip that you shared with us through the game’s official Twitter account.

According to Valve’s announcement, Counter-Strike 2 will offer improved gameplay maps, game-changing smoke bombs, standalone gameplay and redesigned visual and sound effects, plus it will carry all the players’ CS:GO elements, ported to CS2.
