The new Sea of Thieves update introduces changes to PVP and PVE modes
Rare Studios has announced that Sea of Thieves will start 2023 with the start of a new PVE single-player adventure, called The Secret Wilds, that will start today and continue until February 2. The event continues the story from the previous event, The Rogue’s Legacy, and revolves around Captain “Brigcy”.
The developer announced that the other part of the update is to change the way players communicate, where players can expect shorter waiting times for PVP battles, and if it takes too long to find an opponent from the opposing faction, players may end up fighting with another crew in the same faction.
Rare also hopes to make PvP competition more attractive to players by offering more compensation to the losing crew.
