After the official release date of Starfield was revealed, the game received its first age rating from Australian Classification Councilwith a rating of R18+ Restricted due to “high impact” drug use.
Other categories such as traits and language received a Moderate Impact rating, while nudity was somewhat limited. Along with drug use, violence was the second strongest part of the rating, receiving a Strong Impact score.
Given how violent Fallout 3 and 4 and The Elder Scrolls series are, that’s understandable, but how will that happen in Starfield? We don’t know yet.
It is noteworthy that Starfield will be released on September 6 on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
