We’re just two days away from the release of Capcom’s Resident Evil 4, and the pre-loads are finally available for PS4 and PS5.
The size of the PS4 version is 30,938GB, and the PS5 version is 58,038GB, and that space is likely to include the Day 1 update.
Preloads are already available on Xbox Series X/S with around 67GB of storage space.
In an interview with Press Start Australia, Producer Hirabayashi Yoshiaki spoke about players’ concerns about bad weather. “We’ve seen everyone’s reaction to the effects of the rain, and we’re working on updating Day One to make adjustments,” Yoshiaki said.
Heavy rain had been pouring constantly in previous game demos, and while it was likely meant to improve mood, many fans found the intensity and visual relevance of the rain effects too distracting, and based on Yoshiaki’s comments, it didn’t take long for the Resident Evil 4 team to notice the comments and begin to respond. Work on the changes.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is coming to PlayStation 5, PS4 and Xbox Series X | S and PC on March 24.
