During the recent period, some reports appeared that indicated that Nintendo will not be present at the E3 exhibition for this year, but here is the Japanese giant confirming today to IGN that it will officially be absent from the exhibition scheduled for next June.
Nintendo said in an official statement:
We approach our participation in any event on a case-by-case basis and are always thinking of different ways to interact with our fans, but this year’s E3 did not fit into our plans, so we made the decision not to participate. Despite this, we remain a strong supporter of ESA and E3.
Earlier we published a report stating that Xbox, Sony and Nintendo will not participate in E3 2023, and that Nintendo’s withdrawal was due to a lack of major releases, while Xbox will host its own event in “Los Angeles” but will not be at E3 2023.
It is noteworthy that the exhibition E3 2023 is supposed to be officially launched from 13 to 16 June at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
