More than 26 years after the sci-fi movie Event Horizon, Captain Miller may be back in space again.
During a press interview for the highly anticipated John Wick: Chapter 4 on IGN, actor Laurence Fishburne said he’d very much welcome back to play Captain Miller in the upcoming Amazon series Event Horizon.
Fishburne starred in the 1997 science fiction film Captain Miller, captain of the Lewis and Clark salvage ship.
Set in the year 2047, the original film centers around Miller and a crew of astronauts who are sent to investigate a lost spaceship called the Event Horizon that has mysteriously resurfaced.
In August 2019 a report stated Variety Amazon and Paramount Television are working on a spin-off of Event Horizon, and Adam Wingard is set to direct and executive producer.
