It has been officially announced that Hitman 3 will be renamed World of Assassination and put the three Hitman parts into one game.
The announcement came via a post Developer blog IO Interactivewhich revealed that the game World of Assassination will become the only Hitman game available for purchase as of January 26, and Hitman 1 and 2 will be removed from stores, while those who already own Hitman 3 will get a free upgrade to the new game.
World of Assassination will be available for $70 and will include parts of Hitman 1, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3.
The World of Assassination Deluxe Edition can be purchased for $30, which adds additional content including the Hitman 3 Deluxe Pack, Hitman 3 Seven Deadly Sins Collection, and Hitman 2 Expansion Access.
Those who already own this content will not have to pay anything extra, and those who own some but not all of the content will be able to purchase the rest of them individually. The developer stated:
