Ubisoft is suffering from a major financial crisis due to the revenues of its games that did not live up to expectations, causing many projects to be halted in order to reduce costs, but the latest predictions indicate that the publisher’s upcoming titles Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be strong successes.

Reporter Tom Henderson says in his report published on Insider GamingUbisoft’s internal forecasts for the commercial performance of Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora indicate very good performance and strong sales immediately upon release.

The company expects revenue to rise with other upcoming titles in the same period, which include Skull and Bones, The Division Heartland, and another unannounced game.

In a previous report published via Insider GamingJournalist Tom Henderson said that Ubisoft has set August as the earliest date for the game to be released on the market, as the release date has been changed twice internally during the last period.

The report did not mention any details related to why the game was postponed for so long and the initial release window was abandoned in the spring of 2023, but it believes that the problem is likely to be related to the previous generation Xbox One and PS4 devices and their limited capabilities compared to the current generation platforms.

We know Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be smaller and more stealth-focused, with Ubisoft describing the game as an homage to the original games in the series.
