Fallen Dynasty with epic boss battles – IGN First

From weapons to bosses, from stages to systems, IGN First’s January coverage was all about Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. All of our screenshots so far have been from the early stages of the game, but how does dev studio Team Ninja change things later in the game? What kind of magic weapons and spells can be learned and obtained? How can you develop your personality structure? Do the stages get more difficult?

To answer these questions, let’s take a look at a developer’s gameplay tour of Team Ninja through the mid-game Hulaoguan Pass.

Hulaoguan Pass is the site of many historical battles, in this case a clash between defectors led by Yuan Shao and Dong Zhuo, who occupied the ancient Chinese capital, Luoyang. Team Ninja added this in Wo Long as a huge battlefield with siege weapons that the player can use. The Hulaoguan Pass stage is much broader than the previous stages and can be approached in multiple ways. You can break through the front line and fight off hordes of fierce enemies to reach General Hua Xiong, or turn around and find a way through the castle walls.

Both paths eventually lead to an epic boss battle with the mighty warlord Lu Bu. Will this professional player find his way to Lu Bu, and if he does, will he be able to defeat the mighty Three Kingdoms warlords? Check out the video to find out the answer.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty launches March 3rd on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, and will be available via Xbox Game Pass from day one. With Wo Long as the January game of the month for IGN First coverage, you can expect more exclusive articles and videos throughout the month. Check out our final impressions of the game, and don’t forget to check out the Tianzhushan Region gameplay video, the boss battle video with Aoye, as well as a detailed article about the weapons in the game.
