Sources have confirmed that Disney has chosen new actress Maya Kealoha to play the character Lilo in the upcoming live-action remake of Lilo & Stitch.
According to reports from Knight Edge Media And THRKealoha will join a cast that also includes Zach Galifianakis, who plays an as-yet-undisclosed role.
Kiloha hasn’t acted much yet, but she has participated in several Little Miss Kona Coffee contests, and you can see her in one of them below:
There aren’t many details about the Lilo & Stitch remake, which will bring the animated classic from 2002 to life in a new way, but we do know that Marcel the Shell With Shoes On director Dean Fletcher Camp will be directing the previously said film that will be shown on Disney+. .
Filming of the live-action version of Lilo & Stitch was originally scheduled to begin in 2020, but has been subject to several delays.
While there’s still some time until we see Kiloha in Lilo & Stitch, fans won’t have to wait long to see two of her real-life Disney projects, as Peter Pan & Wendy hits Disney+ on April 28, while The Little Mermaid hits theaters on the 26th. May.
