Actor Dave Bautista Says Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Gives Him and the Cast a Perfect Exit
Earlier, Dave Bautista admitted that he felt relieved that his time as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy was over, as he was eager to move on to more serious acting roles. And here he goes back to talking again and confirming that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 gave him the perfect ending to the role.
As Dave stated during his recent appearance on the program The Tonight Show, that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be his last appearance as Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, noting that writer-director James Gunn created the film and the perfect ending for the team’s exit.
Dave said about the role:
I am so grateful to Drax. I love him. But there is relief [لأنه انتهى]. It wasn’t all fun. It was difficult to play this role. The make-up process was really stressing me out. And I don’t know if I want Drax to be my legacy, it’s a silly performance, and I want to do more dramatic things.
Dave has played Drax in six films in addition to the holiday special that came out on Disney+ last year, but he’s keen to show his versatility as an actor. He would particularly like to work closely with director Denis Villeneuve after collaborating with him on Dune and Blade Runner 2049.
With Drax I managed to finish the perfect way, and I will never take another job like Drax just for the paycheck. I would smear those [النهاية المثالية]And I won’t.
