A new trademark may hint at a Castlevania return
Konami recently registered a new trademark that is believed to be related to the long-lost Castlevania series.
The brand is named Project Zircon, says a report Gematsu This name is considered an allusion to an element of the Castlevania game series as it refers to a gem of the same name that appeared in previous games in the series, specifically Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Speaking to our global network, Konami’s Tsutomu Taniguchi said that the company recognizes the “enthusiasm of fans online,” adding that this is motivating for the publisher and reflects players’ desire for more titles in the series.
“We tried to bring back the games people loved and cherished with the Castlevania Anniversary Collection and the Castlevania Advance Collection, we brought back Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night for PlayStation fans and on mobile, and we launched Grimoire of Souls on Apple Arcade to celebrate the series, but we know our fans They always want more, and so do we, so it was impossible to miss this opportunity to have this amazing collaboration with Dead Cells.”
Of course, fans of the series want a new main part and not just a re-introduction of the classic parts. Recent reports also claimed that a new Castlevania game is in the works, and will be announced by Konami at E3 this year, along with a remastered version of Metal Gear Solid 3.
