A free two-hour trial of Gotham Knights for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers
WB Games Montreal’s Gotham Knights has a free two-hour trial for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.
The superhero game joins the likes of The Last of Us Part 1 and A Plague Tale: Requiem, both of which have been getting free-for-a-time versions on the service in the past few weeks.
Gotham Knights takes place after the death of Batman, with the player controlling the characters Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood and Batgirl to protect Gotham from the evil plans of the Court of Owls, with the ability to play the game’s events cooperatively with the company of another player.
Gotham Knights launched last October, nine years after the debut of WB Games Montreal’s first Batman: Arkham Origins game, however, it looks like the next game from the studio may be released with an even shorter lag.
reveal page LinkedIn According to developer Bryan Theberge of WB Games Montreal, the studio has begun full production on its next game, and Theberge is working on the unannounced project as Senior Producer, the same position he held on Gotham Knights.
The studio’s unannounced project has been in the works — likely in pre-production — for some time now, and last year we learned — according to designer Megan Berry’s LinkedIn profile — that the project was in pre-production in 2019, and more recently, she reported. Multiple job advertisements for the project, and suggested that it would be based on the Unreal Engine and could feature team elements such as Gotham Knights.
