Trevor Noah responds to allegations of racist backlash against Rishi Sunak

Trevor Noah recently broke his silence on the ‘racist backlash’ following Rishi Sunak’s appointment as UK Prime Minister.

In a new interview with The temperatureNoah again slammed Britain by proving his claim he made during the talk show using a clip of a caller from LBC radio station who said Sunak was ‘not even British and that he doesn’t love England like Boris”.

Last year Noah was criticized for his controversial monologue which spoke of the fear of some Britons, saying: ‘Oh they are taking over, now the Indians are going to take over Britain and what’s next stage?”

Speaking to the outlet, Noah applauded the criticism he received from many Britons.

“It’s interesting that the UK wants to believe it exists in a post-racial utopia,” the American talk show host said.

Noah mentioned that those who disagreed with his statement didn’t see “the context” on his show.

The former Daily Show host stressed he never said the whole of Britain was racist, adding that “there is always a small group”.

Meanwhile, Noah finally bid farewell to The daily show as host after seven years.
