‘There is no point in protesting now because’- MP Home Minister’s statement again on Pathan
Pathaan Movie: Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra, who opposed Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathan from the beginning, has now given a different statement. He has said that now there is no point in opposing the film.
Narottam Mishra on Pathan: Film Pathan When the first song ‘Besharam Rang’ was released, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra was the first one to protest. Then he objected to the use of saffron bikini in the song. However, after the release of the film, he has said that now there is no point in opposing the film.
Narottam Mishra said on Wednesday that there is no point in opposing Pathan now because the censor board has already taken care of the controversial issues. Last month, he had said that if the controversial things are not removed, then whether the film will be released in Madhya Pradesh or not will have to be considered.
Said this on the protests in Indore and Bhopal
Some right-wing organizations protested against the film in some parts of Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday as well, forcing some cinema halls in Indore and Bhopal to cancel morning shows. When asked about the protests against the film Pathan in Madhya Pradesh, Narottam Mishra said, I believe all improvements have been made in it (the film). The censor board has made corrections. The controversial words have been removed, so I don’t see any point in protesting now.”
During this, Narottam Mishra said that counseling will be done for those opposing the film. Pathan has been released recently in India and all over the world. The film has broken all records on the first day and has achieved an opening of around Rs 100 crore.
PM Modi gave this statement
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a BJP convention in Delhi, advised party workers to refrain from making unnecessary comments on unnecessary issues like films. A few days back, when asked about the Prime Minister’s remarks, Narottam Mishra had said, “No one was named, but his (PM Modi’s) every word, sentence is a staple for us and that’s why all the workers took inspiration from there.” Huh.”
