Netflix movie cast Unblocked discuss the moment that made everyone on set cry. The film follows the main character tormented by a serial killer after he steals his phone.
While discussing some behind-the-scenes moments, the cast talked about the moment that brought them to tears during filming. Actor Kim Hee Won claimed that he also cried while reading the script, “I read the script with director Kim Tae Joon once. I cried while reading it.”
He admitted that this was the scene where the character finds a photo of his son on the serial killer’s phone and begins to feel guilty for being the reason for his son’s death. The actor struggles to discuss the scene even months after filming it.
Director Kim Tae Joon agreed, revealing that everyone on set was moved during the scene, “When he held his son’s photo on the smartphone, like it was a one person, I remember everyone on set was sniffling.”
