Todd Field suggested that there is a good chance that Tar would be his last film.
“There is a real challenge in making a film of any size. It’s not for the faint of heart,” Field told Cinema Scope.
“I wish I was made for different stuff because I probably wouldn’t make more movies. It takes a lot for me to make a movie; I don’t know if I’ll make another one.
While directing another feature, the 59-year-old replied, “I don’t think so,” continuing that “TÁR” might be his final effort. “Yeah, I think so…I haven’t thought of that until now.” It’s very likely,” he said.
But the critically acclaimed director hinted that his decision could change, “I hope that’s possible,” Field added.
