Rihanna and her boyfriend A$AP Rocky can’t wait to get married, but the superstar doesn’t want to walk down the aisle with a baby bump, an insider has claimed.
As reported by Heat Review, the beloved couple were planning their nuptials when they discovered that the Diamonds hitmaker is pregnant again after giving birth to a son last year in May.
A source told the publication that RiRi and the rapper were “desperate” to get married but she was hesitant about her huge baby bump.
“Rihanna and A$AP can’t wait to get married,” the source said. “The thing is, Rihanna doesn’t really like the idea of walking down the aisle with a huge bump under her wedding dress.”
“They can’t decide whether to do it quickly now or wait until after the birth. On the one hand, it makes sense to wait, with so much else to do. Ri needs to take care of herself and have a relaxing, stress-free pregnancy.
“But they’re also desperate to get married,” the source shared. “They are planning to elope in secret, or have something low key in LA now, followed by a big party next year.”
the insider went on to reveal that Rihanna had “already postponed her wedding two or three times. The original idea was to do it in the spring of 2021 on a beach in Barbados, but A$AP had some legal issues.
“Then the first pregnancy happened just as they were preparing to get married in California with some friends and family. Now it feels like they are back to square one.”
However, one thing the couple doesn’t have in mind is that they want to get married too soon. “These two are so madly in love and are determined to spend the rest of their lives together,” the insider said.
“They know it’s a beautiful problem to have and whatever Ri decides she wants, A$AP will go along with it,” the source said. “They are so happy to be added to their family and feel so blessed and excited for the future. Becoming husband and wife will be the icing on the cake – whenever it happens.
