Ponniyin Selvan 2 Release Date: legendary director Mani Ratnam a film by ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ The wait for the second part (PS2) is over. The producer of the film has announced its release date. After the stupendous success of PS1, now the makers are going to release PS2 in IMAX worldwide.

Adorned with veteran stars like actors Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi and Trisha Krishnan, fans were waiting for this film for a long time. After the first part, people were waiting for its second part. Now the makers have announced that the film will be released worldwide on 28 April. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Although in IMAX it will be released in Tamil and Hindi only.

Ponniyin Selvan is based on the 1955 book Ponniyin Selvan by Kalki Krishnamurthy. The film is directed by Mani Ratnam, while the music is given by Oscar Award winning composer AR Rahman. In the first part of the film, the film revolves around the story of the Chola Empire. Now in the second part, the audience will see the story moving forward. The first part of the film got tremendous response from the audience. Apart from this, the critics also praised the film.
