Prince Harry explains the real reason his assistant quit.
In a confessional to his book ‘Spare’, the Duke of Sussex refutes claims that Meghan Markle kicked out of their staff.
He writes: “It was also said that she pushed our assistant to quit; in fact, this assistant was asked to quit by Palace HR after we showed them proof that she had swapped positions with Meg to get gifts. But because we could ‘I haven’t spoken publicly about the reasons for the assistant’s departure, rumors have filled the void.’
Harry continues: “In many ways this was the real start of all the trouble. Soon after, the ‘Duchess Difficult’ story started popping up all over the papers.”
