Prince Harry says Archie perfected his ‘bow’ to greet the Queen after the Megxit
Prince Harry has opened up about Archie’s first encounter with Queen Elizabeth II during his brief return to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex, in his book ‘Spare’, says he met the 96-year-old on his daughter Lilibet’s birthday in Windsor.
Joined by his grandson Archie, Harry also revealed his little one had “honed” his bow to greet his great-grandmother.
In a heartfelt letter written for Her Majesty after her death, Harry spoke of the Sussex family’s intimate times with the Queen.
He said: “I am eternally grateful for all of our first encounters – from my earliest childhood memories with you, to your first encounter as Commander-in-Chief, to the first moment you met my beloved wife and kissed your beloved great-grandchildren.”
