Prince Harry, Meghan Markle advised creating new narratives to stay in the spotlight
Reputation and crisis management expert Edward Coram-James believes it would be beneficial for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to continue clinging to the royal family.
Sharing his thoughts on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to stick to their royal titles, the expert said: “From a PR perspective, I’m very inclined to believe they need to be royals much more than the royal family needs.”
“The royal family will remain relevant no matter what. Despite the scandal that followed the Oprah interview, the docuseries and the book, the royal press will know only too well that the storylines get old, that people move on and that the trick to staying relevant is to create new narratives and set new hooks.” Coram-James said in a conversation with Express UK.
“The Royal Family has no shortage of this. Every week they embark on a new adventure or support one of their causes, creating positive headlines,” according to Coram-James.
