Prince Harry got ‘high’ on ‘laughing gas’ as Meghan Markle went into labor
Prince Harry reveals how he tried to calm his nerves when his wife Meghan Markle gave birth to their first child, Archie Harrison.
Writing in his memoir, Spare, the Duke of Sussex reveals how he ate Nando’s and got high on laughing gas to take the job.
He also added that Meghan ‘bounced on a giant purple ball’ as she went into labor and then listened to soulful hymns’
“Meg was so calm. I was calm too,” he wrote in his memoirs,” he added.
“But I saw two ways to improve my composure. One: Nando’s chicken (brought by our bodyguards). Two: a canister of laughing gas next to Meg’s bed. I took several slow, penetrating blows.
“Meg, bouncing on a giant purple ball, a proven way to give nature a boost, laughed and rolled her eyes. I took several more hits and now I’m bouncing back too.
Harry then added that doctors needed to give Meghan an epidural to ease her pain and ensure a smooth delivery.
“The anesthetist rushed. The music died down, the lights came on. Wow. Change of mood,” he added.
After hard labor, Archie was born and the lovebirds cried with happiness.
