Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Should Ignore ‘Lightweights’ When Making Coronation Decision

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still debating whether or not they should attend King Charles’ next coronation in May 2023.

Rehearsals for the ceremony are expected to start soon and if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were to attend, they would be invited to join.

Addressed exclusively to Express.co.uk, Marlene Koenig, a US-based royal expert, said: “I think they need to refocus. Instead of focusing on all these slights.

She added that such a decision would be “in their best interest”.

The royal expert highlighted that one of Harry’s “best” interviews was his recent chat with Stephen Colbert, saying the duke was “quite funny”.

The Duke appeared on The Colbert Questionert in which he was asked a series of quick questions. He was asked what was his favorite sandwich, smell and song that he was able to kindly joke about.

Koenig described the interview as “cute” and shared that there “should be more.”

The relationship between the Royal Family and the Sussexes has been strained over the past two months, particularly after Harry published his spare memoir in January this year.

As soon as the book hit the shelves, Charles reportedly decided to evict the couple from their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, apparently offended by the searches undertaken against his wife Camilla.
