Prince Harry reveals how he was treated differently than his older brother Prince William from a young age.

Speaking of the minor injustices he felt early on, Harry wrote in his memoir ‘Spare’: “Balmoral had fifty rooms, one of which had been divided for me and Willy. The adults called it the Child’s Room. Willy had the larger half, with a double bed, a beautiful basin, a wardrobe with glass doors, a beautiful window overlooking the courtyard, the fountain, the bronze statue of a deer.

He adds: “My half of the room was much smaller, less luxurious. I never asked why. I did not care. But I didn’t need to ask either. was the reserve.”

He continues: “It was a shorthand often used by dad, mum and grandfather. And even grandmother. The heir and the reserve – there was no judgment about it, but also no ambiguity. J was the shadow, the support, the plan B.”
