Experts believe Meghan Markle only married Prince Harry for her closeness to society’s “invincible luxury Rolls-Royce machine”.
Royal author and biographer Tom Bower has brought this claim to light.
He made the admission while speaking to host Dan Wootton, the UK News.
There he was quoted saying: “(Meghan) is obsessed with money and always has been and that’s why she married Prince Harry.”
“His big surprise and disappointment was that Prince Harry had very little money.”
“She had imagined it was worth hundreds of millions, maybe even billions, and now she has to make up for it.”
“She wants to ride in the big Cadillacs, the private jets on order. Right now, she needs to scrounge for that sort of thing.
It comes after a similar sentiment was shared in his 2018 book Revenge.
There, he said, “began to understand that the British monarchy…was neither full of money nor an invincible luxury Rolls-Royce”.
