Netflix will release “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” in February 2023 but only in a few select regions: Discover the regions


Netflix should be released Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, in February 2023, but only in certain regions.

The film is set in New York and centers on a crocodile, who struggles to adapt to the busy city, although he can’t speak, he sings.

The animated musical hybrid film features the voice talents of Shawn Mendes and also stars Javier Bardem, Constance Wu, Winslow Fegley, Scoot McNairy and Brett Gelman.

According to What’s on Netflix, The streaming giant’s deal with Sony allows it to keep incoming movies for 18 months before heading to Disney services (be it Hulu or Disney+).

Most Sony movies take 120 days to arrive on Netflix, however, in some cases the number of days can exceed that.

Since Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile was released in October 2022. The outlet confirmed that it will be coming to Netflix US exactly 120 days after its theatrical release on February 4, 2023. The date is the same for Netflix India.

Unfortunately, regions like the UK, most of Europe and Latin America will have to wait 2-4 years.
