Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan Reunite in Disney+’s ‘American Born Chinese’ Trailer: Find Out

Disney + has released the trailer for its next series chinese born american Sunday March 12.

According to the trailer, Oscar winners Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Stephanie Hsu star in the original series.

According Hollywood journalist, the series is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang and will be released on May 24.

chinese born american tells the story of a teenager Jin Wang (Ben Wang), who finds himself stuck in the middle of a fight between mythological Chinese gods. The series also stars Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Jimmy Liu, Sydney Taylor, and Daniel Wu.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton is directing and executive producing the series along with Melvin Mar and Jake Kasdan. Meanwhile, Kelvin Yu and Charles Yu adapt, with Kelvin Yu serving as showrunner.

The teaser for the upcoming series was released ahead of the Sunday, March 12 Oscars which crowned Yeoh as the Oscar winner.
