Meghan Markle’s father Thomas brought ‘an armful of tabloids’ to Thanksgiving in secret

Prince Harry is opening up about the British media’s hostile behavior towards Meghan Markle.

Writing in his memoir ‘Spare’, the Duke of Sussex notes how he left an important event to reach out to his girlfriend while she was staying alone at a friend’s house in California.

He writes, “I had to rush back to the rusting merchant navy ship that was taking me to the Caribbean. By the time I reached the ship, late at night, the Wi-Fi signal on board was barely a pulse. I could only text Meg, and only if I was standing on the bench in my cabin, the phone leaning against the window. We were connected just long enough for me to learn that she was safe at my friend’s house.

He continued, “Better yet, her mom and dad were able to sneak in and spend Thanksgiving with her. His father, however, had brought an armful of tabloids, which he inexplicably wanted to talk about. It didn’t go well and he ended up leaving early.
