Maude Apatow recently opened up about suffering a concussion while performing in the Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors.
When he appeared on Late Night with Seth MeyersTHE Euphoria The actress shared that she was “hurt” in the middle of her performance, but ended this show anyway.
“I was running off stage, and I guess my eyes were sort of adjusting to the light, and I just ran full speed into the wall,” the 25-year-old explained.
When Meyers jokingly asked, “Did they just move it there, or was it there every night?”
To that, Apatow replied, “Oh, it was definitely there every night.”
The actress revealed, “I almost cried the rest of the show but I was still able to finish.”
“After the show, I think the adrenaline wore off, and I was like, ‘I have to go to the hospital,’ but I’m fine,” she remarked.
Apatow, who is the daughter of Judd Apatow and actress Leslie Mann, expressed her joy at being cast in the Off-Broadway production.
“It was one of the first shows I ever saw as a kid, so it was very special for that reason I think,” the actress added.
