Marvel is on the hunt for the individual who fled Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania script before its release on Reddit.
The 63-page dialogue transcript from the third installment of Marvel’s smallest hero has been leaked, edited, or displayed in a Portuguese web interface.
Additionally, the leaked text was likely “intended for use in subtitles,” according to TorrentFreak, a piracy news website.
In a leaked dialogue introduction, an unidentified individual attributed the text to screenwriter Jeff Loveness and was described as “translated dialogue”.
The comic studio went to the California Federal District Court and filed a subpoena request to compel Reddit to disclose the user who posted dialogue from the movie to the r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit.” on or about” January 20, 2023.
Marvel requested “all credentials of user ‘u/MSSmods'” in addition to “any other user(s) responsible for posting, editing, and/or content maintenance” which was available on the subreddit anytime between Jan 1-15 and Feb 15.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania opened to mixed reviews and hit theaters on February 17.
