Game Of Thrones Star Emilia Clarke will make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming Disney+ show Secret Invasion.
Clarke will play a Skrull called G’iah, a character who’s appeared on screen before and may already be familiar to some Marvel fans.
Scheduled to air in late June 2023, Secret Invasion will develop a teased element of 2019 Captain Marvelwhere the public will have spotted a version of G’iah for the first time.
Talk to vanity loungeNick Fury actor Samuel L. Jackson has revealed more details about Clarke’s character.
Jackson said, “Remember when Ben was there with his wife and daughter?
“She’s the little Skrull girl who grew up. She’s his daughter.”
Clarke also spoke to vanity lounge on his character. She said: “It toughened her up, for sure. There’s a kind of punk feeling you get from that girl.
“She’s a refugee child who was fathered by Talos, you know what I mean? Maybe the fact that we didn’t know he had a child until now tells you all you need to know about their relationship.”
“G’iah is also pretty much above his dad’s friend Fury and the like. “These people promised a lot of things a long time ago, and not much has happened. It is therefore understandable that a certain resentment was built up.
Secret Invasion is set to land on Disney+ on June 21.
