Lenny Kravitz will perform in the Memoriam segment at the Oscars
Lenny Kravitz is confirmed to perform live at the 95th Academy Awards, which airs March 12.
Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, executive producers and showrunners of this year’s Oscars, along with Molly McNearney, also executive producer, announced Kravitz’s performance for the Memoriam segment on March 6.
The Memoriam segment will pay tribute to over 200 filmmakers, artists and executives in the Academy’s digital magazine.
According Deadline, Lenny Kravitz has a three-decade musical career with 11 studio albums that have sold 40 million copies worldwide and won four consecutive Grammy Awards.
Kravitz also starred in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Lee Daniels’ The Butler, Hunger Games And Precious.
The ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel at the Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood.
