Kit Harington Opens Up About ‘Really Exciting’ Time Expecting Second Child With Rose Leslie

Kit Harington is looking forward to expanding his family this year.

The Game of Thrones alum, 36, chatted with entertainment tonight before the premiere of AppleTV+ series, Extrapolations.

Harington shared that his two-year-old son, who he shares with wife Rose Leslie, is “about to have the shock of his life” when they bring the newborn home.

“I don’t know if he’s really figured out anything conceptually yet,” Harington said of his son knowing what was in store for him.

“He just loves life. My boy loves life,” beamed the proud dad. “He’s charging all over the place, and I think he’s going to be a big older brother. It’s really exciting.

When it comes to parenthood, The Eternals The actor shared that they’re taking a “hands-on approach” to preparations this time around compared to their first “romantic” approach to welcoming their son.

“We are really practical about it at the moment. And actually, almost too convenient,” he joked. “And this other one, we’re like, ‘Okay, okay, let’s go.’ We know how efficient we have to be. Let’s move on to parenthood.

He added: “My mum says she never remembers that we were little kids or that we were parents very early because you are so present there. And I think that’s what kids allow you to be, it’s incredibly present in the moment, because you have no choice.

Harrington broke the happy news when he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on February 3, 2023.

Fallon had asked Kit how his son was doing and the actor, 36, responded by saying it was “good”.

The actor coyly added that “he’s about to have the shock of his life, which is to say he’s about to have a sibling.”
