King Charles, Prince Andrew’s “fractured relationship” irreparable?
Since King Charles III ascended to the throne following the death of Queen Elizabeth aged 96 last September, the crisis in the royal family has apparently worsened.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s persistent attacks on their royal relatives have also added fuel to the fire.
Some royal fans have also begun to analyze the lives of senior royals following Andrew, Harry and Meghan’s exit from society.
In 2016, it was reported that Queen Elizabeth II had decided not to make Eugenie and Beatrice “working royals”, which bitterly divided their father Andrew with his brother, the current King Charles III.
Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal patronages and military titles by the late Queen over his alleged sex scandal.
The Duke of York is cut off from his friends and ‘become reclusive’ after being accused of sexual assault by Virginia Giuffre. Andrew is now reportedly weighing a legal bid to overturn the multi-million pound settlement with her.
Some say King Charles and Andrew’s ‘fractured relationship’ doesn’t appear to be mended anytime soon as the Duke wants his royal status back while the monarch isn’t interested in giving him a royal role as it could further damage his the company’s reputation amid ongoing crisis within the family.
