King Charles issues a warning to disgruntled royals?

King Charles III is said to have implemented his major plan before his coronation, apparently issuing a warning to the disgruntled royal family.

The 74-year-old has begun swinging his ax to thin the monarchy, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being kicked out of Frogmore Cottage.

The monarch, who is due to be crowned alongside Queen Consort Camilla on May 6, has decided to end subsidized rents for members of the royal family for the next five years, according to a new report.

A news outlet quoted a source as saying the King ‘is not some kind of housing association for distant relatives’.

Vice Admiral Sir Tony Johnstone-Burt, Master of the Household, and Sir Michael Stevens, Keeper of the Privy Purse, will be in charge of a post-coronation transition period, sources close to Buckingham Palace have told the Evening Standard .

There is speculation that the next target is Prince Andrew, who has been asked to leave his current residence, the Royal Lodge. The new monarch is said to have presented the Duke of York with the keys to Frogmore Cottage.

Prince William and Harry’s father is also reportedly considering reducing the number of royals who are financially dependent on the crown.
