Khloe Kardashian has praised her former serial cheating boyfriend Tristan Thompson for being the “best dad” even though he has no relationship with any of his sons.
The reality TV star received criticism on social media for hailing the NFL player even after he repeatedly cheated on her and fathered a child with Maralee Nichols while dating Khloe.
Following her birthday wish for Tristan, fans of The Kardashians The star pointed out that he may be there for the children he shares with her, but his relationship with his baby boy Maralee is “non-existent”.
Taking to Instagram, Khloe penned a sweet tribute to Tristan alongside a series of images of him with their two children, True and newborn son, and son Prince who he shares with Jordan Craig.
“Happy birthday @realtristan13,” she wrote. “You are truly the best father, brother and uncle. Your love, your attention, your silly dances, your hugs, your carpool rides, your bedtime rituals, the way you present yourself to them.
“All of the above means more than you will ever know to your family of little ones. My birthday wish for you is that you continue to yearn for change, healing and transformation.
“Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Keep making your soul and your mom proud. Happy birthday baby daddy,” she added.
Khloe disabled the comments section of her post, however, social media users lambasted her on Twitter while mentioning the name of Tristan and Maralee’s son, Theo.
“@khloekardashian how can Tristan be the best father if he abandoned one of his children?!” one user pointed out.
Another laughed at good american co-founder, writing, “Not @khloekardashian calling Tristan best dad [laughing emoji] the world is truly coming to an end.
“Khloe kardashian. You better turn off comments on your Insta post about Tristan being a good dad. You forgot about that new baby huh!!?? He ain’t even met that one!! we got writing.
