Keanu Reeves Pays Tribute to Late ‘John Wick’ Co-Star Lance Reddick, Along With Many More
John Wick Actor Keanu Reeves paid tribute to his co-star Lance Reddick, a day after his death on Friday, March 17, at his home in Studio City, Calif.
Keanu Reeves and John Wick director Chad Stahelski shared a joint note that read, “We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend and colleague Lance Reddick.”
They also added, “He was a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. Our love and prayers go out to his wife Stephanie, his children, his family and his friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. He will be greatly missed.”
The Wire’s Wendell Pierce also shared his feelings on Twitter, writing, “A man of great strength and grace. As talented as a musician as an actor. The epitome of class .”
He continued, “Sudden and unexpected grief for our artistic family. Unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Good luck my friend. You left your mark here. RIP.”
