Kanye West won’t be charged for throwing fan’s cellphone
Kanye West recently made headlines after announcing he would not be charged with “grabbing and throwing” a fan’s cellphone.
According TMZa press release from the Ventura Co. District Attorney’s Office shared that the fan’s phone “sustained minor damage, only affecting the case around the device.”
The press release also mentions that the fan refused to press charges against Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye.

In the footage, Ye could be seen reaching into her car and grabbing the woman’s cellphone, then throwing it in the street.
It was reported that the same clip also showed the rapper calling on a paparazzi to stop “clicking pictures.”
Following the incident, Kim Kardashian was also asked if Ye had “thrown away” a fan’s cellphone.
Kardashian then replied, “Don’t talk to me about that in front of my kids.”
