Jinyoung of K-pop group GOT7 is telling fans about his upcoming military enlistment. The singer and actor is expected to begin his mandatory military service this year.
Although his agency confirmed that he would enlist in 2023, they admitted they did not have a set date yet. Fans have been waiting since the beginning of the year to find out when he would leave for his service.
Fellow GOT7 member Jay B enlisted in the military without any announcement earlier this year and fans only found out when he donated as the charity clarified that he was “presently performing his military duty as a public service personnel”.
Jinyoung responded when fans started asking about his enlistment plans, “What are you interested in? I’ll let you know when I go [to the military] so don’t worry about it. No more worries.
