Johnny Depp’s attorney Camille Vasquez honored for her successful portrayal of the actor

Ben Chew and Camille Vasquez won multiple accolades at the annual Benchmark Litigation Awards gala for their successful portrayal of Johnny Depp in his defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife and Amber Heard.

Depp won more than $10 million in damages last year, winning a near-total victory in a libel suit against Heard.

According to a report, Chew and Vasquez received the Impact Case Award.

The awards ceremony took place on March 15 in New York. According to Benchmark Litigation, these awards “recognize the nation’s most distinguished litigants and their firms for their exemplary work over the past twelve months.”

Depp had sued Heard for $50 million and argued she defamed him when she called herself a “public figure representing domestic violence” in an opinion piece.
