Jason Ritter admits getting into the showbiz industry through his father’s connection
Jason Ritter said he profited from nepotism early in his career.
In a recent episode of SiriusXM The Jess Cagle Show, THE Frozen II the actor said he got his first acting job because of his father’s relationship in the 1991 cartoon The true story of O Christmas Tree.
43-year-old father John Ritter breathed his last aged 54 in 2003; he was best known for playing Jack Tripper on ABC’s hit comedy show Three’s Company.
“I will say, without any hesitation, it was like a rental of complete nepotism. I will admit that” adding: “It [John] for sure got me the job. I tried to stay away from that later,” Ritter joked.
Ritter has starred in several movies and TV shows, including The Tale, Frozen II, and the Netflix superhero drama Raising Dion.
