Jane Fonda rejoices and celebrates cancer remission after long battle
Jane Fonda has just shed some light on her recently announced remission from cancer after a “long session of chemotherapy”.
For those who don’t know, Fonda was only recently diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in September.
Previously, she told fans, “It’s a very treatable cancer. 80% of people survive, so I feel very lucky.
However, recently she has turned to entertainment tonight and admitted, “It was the first time I thought, ‘OK, that’s what most people go through. Because the kind of chemo I was taking wasn’t that bad at first.
“I think a lot about death. I have for 30 years. I think it’s a healthy thing to do. It’s hard to live well if you don’t think about death. It’s part of life.
“Other cultures aren’t as afraid to think about death as we are. I spend a lot of time thinking about it and it has improved my life a lot. And when you’re diagnosed with cancer, you think about it even more and want to be sure you’re doing what you want to do, so when the time comes, you won’t have a lot of regrets.
