Media personality and rapper Joe Budden calls rapper J. Cole an insult because of his collaboration with J-Hope of K-pop group BTS. Budden is known for saying controversial things and being surrounded by scandals.

He is also a podcast host and occasionally appears on Love and hip-hop in New York. He shared a video on March 8 titled ‘Joe Budden FIRE to J. Cole for PANDERING after BTS Collab.’

At the start of the clip, they can be seen critiquing J. Cole’s recent outing where the rapper used a beat from a Youtube producer and said he was “indulging”. They then mentioned BTS as another example of the same.

After listening In the street, the new song by J-Hope and J. Cole, the other hosts can be seen saying that the track is not bad. However, that’s when Budden appeared onscreen holding a board with an insult written on it.

The slur is typically used against African Americans, and Budden directed it at the other hosts for liking the song as well as J. Cole.
