Gwyneth Paltrow’s lawyer responds to fans comparing him to Clark Kent
As Gwyneth Paltrow wrapped up her lawsuit against retired optometrist Terry Sanderson for a skiing collision in 2016, fans took notice of Paltrow’s handsome attorney.
James Egan represented the Oscar-winning actress, 50, in the case and won. On Thursday, Paltrow was found not responsible for the incident and received $1 plus reimbursement of her legal fees, via people magazine.
During the two-week trial, Egan became a viral topic himself as fans swooned over his appearance, with many comparing him to Superman’s alter ego Clark Kent.
After the announcement of the verdict, the handsome lawyer was questioned by Supplements Billy Bush on what he thought of the comparisons. To which Egan said, “I heard that, that’s weird.”
The lawyer also revealed that he was traveling home to see his one-year-old son, whom he was unable to meet during the trial.
“He celebrated his birthday during the trial. I haven’t seen him, he just learned to walk,” Egan said, also adding that the last time he saw his little toddler was on Saturday.
Among the many people who raved about the avocado’s beauty was fashion columnist Evan Ross Katz. He shared an Instagram photo of the lawyer inside the courtroom and captioned the snap: “Gwyneth’s lawyer, James Egan? I think we should have this conversation.
Additionally, journalist Katie Couric wrote in the comments, “He’s cute.”
