‘GMA’ Fans Miss Amy Robach and TJ Holmes
The strong chemistry of TJ Holmes and Amy Robach makes hello america fans are calling ABC’s Oscars coverage would be “much better” under the pair.
The studio has tapped Whit Johnson and Linsey Davis to fill in for the couple’s spots to cover Hollywood’s biggest night in Los Angeles.
The pair covered the build-up to the Oscars and also presented at the ceremony.
Additionally, Lara Spencer has also joined the CMG anchors for the most important award ceremony of the year.
Johnson, however, admitted he had never covered the Oscars before and called himself a “total rookie”.
In the meantime, CMG fans expressed frustration at the studio’s lackluster coverage without their star performers.
One fan didn’t hesitate, “It was a lot better when you had TJ and Amy.”
“I miss TJ and Amy! and a third agreed, ‘It just wasn’t the same!’ another commented.
Last year, Robach and Holmes covered the Oscars live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
In other news, the couple are gearing up to hit the big screen with their own show.
The lovebird “is not done with television and remains convinced that another network or another cable channel will see the value of their undeniable chemistry”, with a source denounced to RadarOnline that “some of TV’s best double acts have been in love!”
But their return could be delayed as their teams advise the couple to seize the right moment to showcase their real-life romance.
“They’re pressured by managers to wait for the next round of syndicated TV pitches to introduce buyers to a new format that would rival their old niche at ABC,” the insider revealed.
However, the move raised a few eyebrows, given their ABC history, but the senior source is confident they will return.
“Can they succeed? Stranger things have happened. they laugh. “Daytime TV is a different ballgame these days, and TJ and Amy have what it takes. They’re not too scandalously scarred.”
